I want to be able to turn on and off multiple, like 5 or more, 12V (DC) motors remotely, from 20 or more feet away, by sending a single 12V (DC) power cable down, and a USB or other data cable to a microcontroller or something else to be able to turn on and off these motors.

Can a microcontroller do this? Can it be modified to do this? Is there another way to do this?

Specifics would be really helpful!

Thanks!
